Hello, my name is Ms. Hoque and I am a school counselor in Buffalo, NY. I grew up in Brooklyn, NY, and received my Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Urban Studies from CUNY Queens College, followed by a Master's degree in School Counseling from SUNY University at Buffalo.

As a dedicated and passionate school counselor, I am committed to supporting and guiding students on their educational journey. With a focus on urban populations, I thrive in diverse and dynamic settings, working diligently to unlock the full potential of every student under my care.

My mission is to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where students can flourish academically, socially, and emotionally. I believe that each student possesses unique strengths and capabilities, and my role is to empower them to recognize and utilize these qualities for personal and academic success.

In my counseling practice, I emphasize the importance of college & postsecondary readiness. I am dedicated to equipping students with the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to navigate the transition to higher education and beyond.

My approach is student-centered, collaborative, and holistic. By building strong relationships with students, parents, and educators, I strive to create a supportive network that enhances the overall educational experience. Together, we can create a pathway to success, instilling a sense of purpose and resilience in our students as they embark on their academic and personal journeys.
