There are a few types of "common" applications

Universal College Application (UCA)

The UCA works to link colleges with a diverse range of students, giving you the chance to explore schools you might not have thought about. They are accepting applications for over 40 colleges and universities. Click on the links above for more info.
Common Black Colleges Application (CBCA)
CBCA Video
As of 2023, 65 HBCUs (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) are part of this common application. When students use the CBCA app, they pay a $20 application fee and can send their application to their top 4 schools. However, all 65 institutions can access a student's application and data. My Coalition: Coalition for College
MyCoalition video
MyCoalition was made with the intent to "improve the college application process for all students, particularly those from historically underrepresented groups." As of 2018, more than 140 colleges are participating in the MyCoalition Application.
What is an HBCU?
